Fourth grade ELAR teacher
I graduated from Shamrock High School in Shamrock, Texas.
I went to Clarendon College for 2 years and then went on to graduate from WTAMU in Canyon, Texas.
I have a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology and a minor in Biology.
This is my 4th year at West Texas Elementary School. I am currently teaching 4th grade reading and writing.
This is my 17th year of teaching. I taught at Borger ISD for 9 years prior to joining West Texas Elementary. There I taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 2nd grade. I also taught 4th grade Science for 3 years in Fort Stockton before moving back to the Panhandle. My first teaching job was at Thorndale ISD and that is where I taught Kindergarten through 5th grade PE. I was also the Freshman/JV girls volleyball, basketball, and softball coach.
I am happily married to my husband, Lance. We celebrated 20 years of marriage this summer. We have two daughters. Landry is 16 and Addison is 13. Landry is a Junior at Borger High School. She is active in volleyball and golf. Hunting is one of her favorite sports as well. Addison is in the eighth grade at West Texas Middle School. She plays volleyball, basketball, and throws the discus in track. We also have a six year old Yorkie named Tilly.
When I’m not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and I love sports!!
