Welcome to West Texas Elementary School
The mission of West Texas Elementary is to provide our children with the skills to become proactive, productive citizens of the twenty-first century.
Our website is our primary way to get information to parents of West Texas Elementary students. As soon as information becomes available, we will post it on this page. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the West Texas Elementary office at 878-2103.
The 2018 Homecoming Pep Rally will be held on Friday, September 21st at 2:45 pm in the West Texas High School Event Center. Please observe the following:
5th Grade Music Performance in the Auditorium @ 12:30
This performance will be for our campus as well as the parents/family of 5th grade students.
Parents of Elementary Students:
It’s tattoo time again! This Friday is the first football game of the season. We will be outside the cafeteria
We have an offer to help out on Friday mornings. We have pre-packaged some tattoos for $10.00 if you would like to purchase them and have them all ready for the season. We have some ready for boys and some for girls. If you buy the pre-packaged set, you get an extra two for free. There are 12 tattoos in each baggie.
We look forward to seeing your little Comanches – full of Comanche pride and spirit!!
The cheerleaders enjoy this time with the kids and we hope that we can make it a little less stressful and a little more meaningful.

P.S. Here are some tips for tattoo removal:
Never just scrub with water or soap and water.
These I have always personally used:
1) Scotch tape – press it over the tattoos and rub it smooth. Tattoo will lift off but may take a couple of tries to get it all
2) Rubbing alcohol – just rub it with alcohol on a cotton ball. It works best if you get most of it off with the scotch tape
These I have not used, but I know people who have:
3) Baby oil – Rub using cotton ball or tissue
4) Coconut oil – Rub using cotton ball or tissue
5) Baby wipes – Just wipe it off
